Description
The Postnatal Hub will provide a drop in and scheduled postnatal support for all women who have delivered their baby in any of the three Dublin Maternity Hospitals, up to six weeks post-delivery. This is a new and exciting collaborative innovative service which is being led by the three Dublin based maternity hospital. This person will be responsible for the development of safe efficient processes to coordinate all postnatal referrals to the postnatal hubs based at the National Maternity hospital.
This is a new role within the NMH to aid the establishment of a postnatal hub in the catchment areas of the National Maternity Hospital.
The role of the grade 5 admin will focus on providing a patient focused, quality and seamless service, maximising communication across the all sites and clinical teams. He/she will ensure there is an efficient referral system operating efficiently to ensure patients are referred to the most appropriate service, and ensuring maximum capacities are maintained.
This role will also include liaison with the administrative teams in the coombe and the rotunda to monitor referrals, capacities and numbers of attendees. He/she will have an ability to plan ahead identifying any issues, unfilled slots and aim to utilize maximum capacity.
