About the Role
The primary job function of the Department Manager is to take accountability for their department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer care and operational standards to maximise sales and profitability whilst maintaining costs.
* To deliver the budgeted plan for the department and any subsequent forecasts
* To deliver the principles of operations and customer service
* Lead the team in a manner appropriate to the Brand to deliver the agreed business strategy
* Ensuring all relevant trading safely and legal policies are in place and adhered to
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver Budgeted Plan: To ensure the department meets its financial targets by effectively managing stock levels, inventory, and pricing strategies.
2. Operational Excellence: To maintain high standards of operational efficiency, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and minimizing waste.
3. Customer Service: To consistently deliver excellent customer service, ensuring every customer has a positive experience with the brand.
4. Team Leadership: To inspire and motivate team members, providing guidance, coaching, and training to develop their skills and knowledge.
