This role is based in the Faculty of Business, Cork Campus and will provide on-going support to the Vice Dean Academic Affairs in their role as Work Package Leader in the INGENIUM University Alliance.
The role reports to the Vice Dean Academic Affairs, Faculty of Business.
Duties and responsibilities of the position: Supporting the project manager with project budgets including invoices, timesheets, and other expenditure items.
Liaison with Project Partners and other project stakeholders.
Scheduling partner meetings and minute taking.
Organising online and in person events.
Attending relevant working group meetings.
Promoting projects and initiatives internally and externally and contributing to the dissemination of outcomes.
Supporting the implementation of project tasks and deliverables.
Assisting in report preparation and information gathering.
Assisting in the preparation of funding applications.
Some travel nationally and internationally as required.
Flexible approach to managing workload in terms of tasks and time.
To undertake other appropriate duties assigned by the Vice Dean Academic Affairs.
The successful candidate will have qualifications and experience as follows: Essential:?
Have obtained at least Grade D3 (H6/O6) in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination (higher, ordinary, applied or vocational programmes) or equivalent OR have passed an examination at the appropriate level within the QQI qualifications framework which can be standard or equivalent or higher OR have appropriate relevant experience which encompasses equivalent skills and expertise assessed as being of a comparable to Leaving Certificate.
Excellent communication skills including excellent written and spoken English.
Evidential interpersonal skills and ability to engage and develop relationships.
Experienced team player with demonstrable record of performing in a team environment.
Computer literate, especially MS office applications including TEAMS.
Experience of organizing events online and in person.
Report writing experience and skills.
Experience of working as part of a team.
