Our client, a dynamic and innovative organisation in Galway, is seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers in Test to join their team on a 12 months contract basis. With a hybrid working policy, this opportunity provides a great work-life balance. This client operates hybrid working policy and candidates would be required to go to their Galway office.

Skills:
*Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
*Extensive experience as a software engineer, proficient in Java, SQL, JavaScript and/or any programming language.
*Possesses robust problem-solving and analytical capabilities with ability to analyze functional and technical system designs for testability
*Experience in developing and testing APIs, CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Core or similar, Test Driven Development -- JUnit, Jasmine,Jest etc.
*Exposure to Test Automation Tools and Frameworks-Hammer and CallMaster for front-end testing, RestAssured Cucumber Java BDD, and Insomnia for API testing.
*Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk.
*Proficiency at mining and manipulating test data in support of test cases for multiple and complex projects
*Expertise with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) delivery and software design, development, test and operational automation
*Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and container-based development and deployment practices will be a plus
*Familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc) a plus
*Ability to trouble-shoot complex data issues across the e2e technology stack
*Either hands-on Azure / AWS experience or demonstrated desire to build cloud experience (e.g. certifications, training)
