Responsibilities
The Product Manager co‑ordinates and program manages all product activity of the team and with functional stakeholders to ensure that there is a detailed plan of activity throughout the year.
* Project managing product initiatives from approval through to implementation with business partners
* Successfully managing any issues and risks relating to each product initiative
* Managing expectations and escalating any potential delays, issues and/or risks
* Continuously supporting Invesco business areas through product change
* Contributing to the development and maintenance of Invesco EMEA's product strategy in conjunction with Strategy and Development teams
* Maintaining close working relationship with Investment management teams on new product ideas and regulatory change that impact on product
* Taking ad hoc projects as required with respect to technical or regulatory change and develop end to end solutions to support business needs.
Qualifications
* Proven experience within the investment management sector.
* Product related experience in a financial services organisation and/or working with larger business projects.
* In depth knowledge of financial markets with investment experience a plus.
* Understanding of functional areas that feed into the product process with experience in one or more areas a plus.
* Strong system proficiency including advanced Power Point and Excel.
* Sound understanding of product development / management.
* Knowledge of market trends.
* Thorough understanding of the investment markets, product and product structures.
