Job: Senior BIM Engineer - Data centre project
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Key Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of the BIM process across assigned projects.
* Develop, implement, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
* Ensure all project stakeholders comply with the BEP and established workflows.
* Organize and lead BIM Coordination Workshops; track and report on progress.
* Manage and document BIM model development, versioning, and status tracking.
* Establish and enforce quality control protocols to ensure model accuracy and appropriate level of detail at each project stage.
* Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage, and lead clash resolution meetings with consultants and subcontractors.
* Communicate key coordination issues and BIM-related challenges to project teams.
* Monitor shared data integrity and maintain alignment across grids, levels, and coordinates.
* Define and oversee technical requirements, software interoperability, and BIM standards for all contributors.
* Ensure accurate, compliant uploads to the Common Data Environment (CDE).
* Oversee the structured handover of models and data at defined project milestones.
* Occasionally support model development and generation as required.
* Stay current with emerging BIM tools, trends, and best practices.
* Carry out any other duties related to the BIM function as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
* Third-level qualification in Construction, Structural Engineering, or Building Services.
* Minimum 6 years of post-graduate experience in a related field.
* Experience with a main contractor is highly desirable.
