Senior Production Operator
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Production Operator to join our team.
About the Role:
* This is a dynamic role that requires strong technical skills, with experience in the manufacturing of medical devices.
* The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality products, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manufacturing Operations: Responsible for engaging in day-to-day manufacturing activities, including building sub-assemblies and finished devices.
2. Quality Control: Complete part and subassembly visual and dimensional inspection activities in line with documented procedures and standards.
3. Maintenance and Setup: Issue materials to the manufacturing line, and set up equipment & fixtures on the manufacturing line.
4. Materials Management: Assist with the management of the Material Control System, including incoming inspections, part issuance and tracking.
5. Training and Development: Participate in training activities and become proficient in the required manufacturing and inspection activities in a timely manner.
6. Testing and Quality Assurance: Assist in the preparation and execution of in process device testing and recording of associated results.
7. Improvement and Innovation: Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement in product quality and throughput, and participate in the successful implementation of the same.
8. Team Leadership: Provide training and guidance to team members on building, inspection and testing of products.
9. Compliance: Ensure full compliance with released Work Instructions and Procedures.
10. Record Keeping: Complete written and soft-copy quality records in line with GDP requirements.
11. Attendance and Reliability: Be dependable in coming to work, adhering to work and break schedules, and meeting required quality and productivity standards.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a production environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
* Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing operations, quality control, and materials management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
