Responsibilities:
* Create a positive customer experience by ensuring the on-boarding process is a smooth and enjoyable process for all new joiners
* To be a trusted advisor, creating superior experiences consistently and earning trust by making a difference in the lives of our customers, colleagues and communities every day
* Work collaboratively with the rest of the HR team
* Maintain accurate processes and How to Guides
* Support the wider HR team and cross functional projects
* Undertake ad hoc project work and other BAU tasks as required
* Keep up-to-date with all relevant HR legislation
* Support the effective and efficient focus on data metrics and analysis, development and report monitoring of service level agreements and key performance indicators for HR
* Actively contribute to a risk aware culture that is aligned to the risk appetite
* Ensure that all payroll and employee information is kept confidential
* Complete new joiner contracts and support payroll process
* Follow the procedure for HR file maintenance to include:
* Collaborate closely with the payroll team in regards to our monthly New Joiner payroll instructions and learn from any feedback
* Managing new joiner process on People XD
* Support timely responses to employee and Management queries
Requirements:
* EssentialExcellent interpersonal skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality
* Proven ability of delivering to tight deadlines
* Clear track record of working effectively in situations that require sound decision making and may involve confidential or sensitive matter
* Solid understanding of current employment legislation and compliance
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to use strong judgment skills to identify and resolve problems
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work on one’s initiative and in team environment
