Production Manager Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the production process. The successful candidate will report directly to the Plant Manager and lead a team of over 50 production staff.
The Production Manager's key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing production targets for product lines daily, weekly, and in accordance with company KPIs.
* Supporting Daily PIT meetings with team leads and members to ensure production targets are achieved.
* Creating and executing recovery plans where output targets have not been met.
* Investigating and eliminating repeat issues.
* Identifying strategies to reduce production costs, increase efficiencies, and eliminate waste.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A minimum level 7 degree qualification or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering.
* 5-7 years' hands-on experience as a Production Manager, managing a team of 30+ employees.
* Metal manufacturing experience is essential. Fabrication experience is desirable.
