Our client, a leading tech services company, is recruiting a qualified accountant to work as part of the commercial projects team. In this role you will help manage financial performance and reporting across multiple high value projects and sites within Europe. You will provide accurate cost analysis, budget control, and revenue accounting to support the business's ongoing growth and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare weekly cost and revenue reports for senior stakeholders, highlighting trends and key movements.
* Produce monthly cost reports for various project sites and provide meaningful analysis to commercial teams.
* Present monthly summaries of revenue, margins, and cost performance with clear insights and commentary.
* Partner with operational teams to resolve queries, clarify submissions, and reconcile cost and revenue items.
* Monitor project spend, track budgets, and support financial control across live projects.
* Contribute to financial forecasting by offering insight into cost trends and commercial outcomes.
* Manage core contract and revenue accounting, including WIP, payment certificates, and related items.
* Support the development and improvement of financial reporting tools, including enhancing Power BI dashboards.
* Carry out additional finance and accounting tasks as required, with opportunities for role expansion as the business grows.
Key Skills
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), 0-2 years PQE
* Strong Excel and Office 365 skills; experience with Power BI is a significant advantage.
* Excellent numerical and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and senior stakeholders.
* Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment across multiple sites.
