Site Manager
The role is focused on overseeing the construction of a residential development in Laois, working closely with a main building contractor who specialises in residential and commercial construction. The project has a value of up to €20M, making it a significant undertaking. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact on site for all activities, reporting directly to the Contracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate and supervise the construction process of the residential development.

* Act as the first point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients, and the design team.

* Support the Director and oversee both commercial and residential projects, managing workforce on-site including direct staff and subcontractors.

* Collaborate with local authorities when necessary.
">
* Ensure high productivity levels among sub-contractors and personnel on site.
">
* Supervise works on site to ensure quality, timeliness, and adherence to budget.
">
* Plan and coordinate daily site requirements, including labor, procurement of materials, and meeting deadlines.
">
* Evaluate company policies, including health and safety protocols, and enforce compliance on site.

* Perform administrative tasks related to company compliance and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

* A degree in Construction Management or equivalent trade background.
">
* A minimum of five years of proven experience as a Site Manager on housing developments.
">
* Desirable: Engineering background.
">
* Ability to effectively manage site programs and associated schedules to meet required deadlines.
