Assistant Manager Job Description
This is a leadership role that requires someone with experience in store management to join our team.
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively, providing excellent customer service and a fresh food offering at all times in a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Management of all recruitment and selection, training and development requirements for the store
* Supporting the store manager in day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth and efficient running of the site
* Ensuring the store is operating safely at all times
* Building and maintaining high sales and profits
* Investigating and responding directly to customer complaints
* Operating within the guidelines of the law at all times
* Meting set targets with regard to food costs, labour costs, customer counts and mystery shopper
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2-5 years store management experience in the catering/hospitality/quick service food industry
* The ability to inspire, lead and motivate employees through support and development
* Customer-focused, innovative, motivating and energetic are key attributes required for this hands-on role
* Excellent organisational and team leader skills, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude towards work
