HCAs Required for Low Support Community Group Home
We are seeking HCAs to join our team in a low support community group home within the Donegal Intellectual Disability Service.
About the Role:
* The shifts will comprise of long days, night duty and an afternoon/evening shift.
* A full clean driving licence is highly desirable for this role.
This position is based in the Donegal Town area and involves working with individuals who require 24 hour care and support.
Key Requirements:
To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication skills, patience, understanding and empathy when interacting with service users. You should also have good time management skills as well as being able to work independently when required.
The ideal candidate will also possess basic computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office software.
You must be flexible regarding your availability so that we can accommodate varying needs across different locations throughout the week which could include residential facility or day services depending on operational requirements; Your experience gained from previous jobs would make it easier if given adequate consideration.
