Job Title: Senior Credit Management Professional
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and accomplished leader to head our credit management team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee the development and implementation of effective credit control strategies.
* Negotiate terms and conditions with customers, including deposits, securities, and insurance cover.
* Establish and maintain a robust provision policy.
* Approve requests for bad debt write-offs.
* Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
* Provide regular performance reports.
* Conduct unallocated cash reviews and implement strategies to reduce outstanding amounts.
* Ensure timely processing of month-end statements.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder concerns.
* Enhance the dunning process and automate tasks using available systems.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 8 years' experience in credit control, with at least 4 years leading teams of 5 or more.
* Excellent client management skills.
* Proven experience in managing projects that reduce days sales outstanding (DSO), arrears, and dormant accounts.
