About the Role
We are seeking a commercially sharp and hands-on Financial Controller to take full ownership of the finance function for our esteemed hospitality client.
This pivotal leadership role involves full responsibility for financial oversight, operational support, and commercial analysis in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead all aspects of the finance function, from month-end close to year-end audit.
* Produce accurate, timely management accounts with variance analysis and actionable insights.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow to support commercial decision-making.
* Drive cost control and profitability across departments.
* Develop and enforce internal controls and ensure full compliance with relevant standards.
* Oversee payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations, and reporting.
* Collaborate closely with the General Manager and heads of department to improve financial performance.
* Support growth initiatives with robust financial modelling and business case evaluation.
* Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be a Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) or qualified by experience. You will have minimum 3 years experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the hospitality sector.
