The role
Project Manager

Role Overview

Renewable energy isn’t just a goal — it’s a responsibility. Our client is focused on building the energy system of the future by harnessing power from the sun and wind, enabling CO₂-free mobility, and developing smart storage and usage solutions. As a full service provider of renewable energy, they deliver sustainable energy solutions for generations to come — working in close partnership with communities, companies, and individuals to drive the real energy transition.

The Irish division is a newly established and growing team focused on the engineering, procurement, and construction of utility-scale solar PV projects and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Based in Leixlip, the team combines local agility with strong international expertise.

The Role

They are seeking an energetic and proactive Project Manager to join their team in Ireland. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, resourceful, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

You will manage projects from tender stage through to client handover, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and the ability to work across multiple functions, including procurement, logistics, and construction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from tender award through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Act as the primary point of contact for the client during construction; managing and administering contracts, including variations, claims, and compliance with terms.
Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams.
Work with and manage local suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of components and services.
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure milestones are achieved and quality standards are met.
Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flow to ensure profitability targets are achieved.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.
What You'll Need

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
3+ years’ experience in project management within renewable energy, power, or civil engineering sectors.
Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects (ideally Solar PV or Wind).
Knowledge of contract management (FIDIC or similar). • Experience as a Cost Engineer or QS (desirable).
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office.
Adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
