Warehouse Operative & Van Driver
Inspire Tiles and Stone is Ireland's destination for premier tiles, wood flooring, sanitary ware, and bespoke printed tiles. From our state-of-the-art showroom in Claremorris, Co. Mayo, we set the standard for design inspiration, working with architects, designers, and homeowners to bring their ideas to life.
We are now seeking a dependable and committed Warehouse Operative & Van Driver to join our team. This is a varied role in a fast-paced environment, combining warehouse duties with customer service and deliveries.
Responsibilities
As Warehouse Operative & Van Driver, you will:
· Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care and secured properly.
· Receive, check and store incoming stock, reporting any discrepancies.
· Record stock movements on inventory software, keeping records accurate and up to date.
· Pick, pack and prepare orders so they are accurate and ready for dispatch.
· Ensure customer orders are delivered safely, professionally and on time.
· Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment in accordance with health and safety requirements.
· Assist within the store when required and support colleagues as part of the wider team.
· Represent Inspire Tiles and Stone as a brand ambassador, always maintaining a professional and courteous approach.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
· A full, clean Category B driving licence (minimum two years).
· Excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written English).
· Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role (preferred).
· Experience using tablets or mobile communication equipment.
· Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and moving heavy items.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Reliability, punctuality and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Desirable (but not essential):
· A valid truck licence (7- or 10-tonne).
· Forklift licence or experience with warehouse equipment.

· Job Type: Permanent, full-time.
· Hours / Days: Monday to Saturday (3 pm finish on Saturday).
· Probationary Period: Three months.
· Remuneration: Competitive salary (DOE).
