Cloud Automation Engineer. This role is hybrid with an expectation to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description

What you’ll do
* Understand, participate, and provide input for functional and design specifications and other design documentation.
* Execute and automate long-running, scalable, reliable, and secure test cases and report results.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Customer Support, and Platform Engineering.
* Provide guidance and mentoring to new hires joining the team.
What you need to bring
* Knowledge of the complete SDLC and experience in software testing methodology, tools, and test execution.
* Strong coding skills.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for root cause analysis.
* Knowledge of regression, scale, and performance testing processes.
* Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
* Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ideal candidates will have at least 1–3 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
Experience in the following areas/technologies
* Proficiency in programming in Python is essential.
* Proficiency in Java/Go or Selenium is a plus.
* REST APIs, JSON, Web Applications
* Docker, Microservices, Containerization, Kubernetes
* CI/CD, Git/GitLab, Jenkins
* TestNG or Playwright experience is essential
* Scale/performance testing tools
Education
* BS/MS degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized and accredited university/college.
