Our Biotechnology Research client is seeking a HR Admin to join their team. Reporting to the HR Lead, the HR administrator will be vital in delivering a positive employee experience to retain talented staff. The HR Admin will independently handle all HR administration tasks and support the HR Lead, HR Director, department Managers, and staff on various people and culture projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Sage HR system as the subject matter expert, including the SAGE PR and Training modules.
2. Handle the HR email inbox independently, respond promptly to queries, and escalate issues as needed. Provide accurate advice to managers and colleagues on operational HR matters and early-stage employee relations.
3. Assist external recruitment partners with campaign processes, including participating in interviews as a panel member.
4. Oversee employee and student onboarding, including contracts, hosting agreements, relocations, file setup, and maintaining the SAGE database. Deliver induction and orientation presentations.
5. Administer, track, and monitor:
* Monthly HR payroll instructions to the Payroll Manager (Finance team)
* Performance management administration
* Annual salary review support
* Training and development coordination
* Protected Leave administration
* Absence management administration
* SAGE HR management, including contract dates and work permit renewals
Requirements:
* Recent experience with SAGE HR System
* Current or recent experience working in a modern HR department – essential
* Up-to-date knowledge of Irish employment law – essential
