Role Overview: We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of Sales & Marketing to build our commercial function from the ground up.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited to roll up their sleeves to define and implement our go-to-market strategy.
Responsibilities: Define and implement the B2B sales strategy across target verticals (e.g., public sector, finance, retail).
Build and manage a scalable sales process, including CRM, pipeline reporting, and forecasting.
Develop pricing, packaging, and proposals tailored to client needs.
Personally engage with strategic accounts and support key deals.
Recruit, train, and lead initial sales hires as the team scales.
Design a full-funnel marketing strategy (brand, demand gen, content, digital, and events).
Establish metrics for lead generation, campaign ROI, and conversion rates.
Create compelling collateral: case studies, white papers, social content, webinars.
Build and manage relationships with PR, design, and media vendors.
Elevate the Enterprise Defence brand both nationally and internationally.
Work closely with executive leadership to align on company objectives.
Partner with technical teams for content and product marketing.
Support RFPs, tenders, and compliance documentation as needed.
Requirements: 7+ years experience in B2B sales and/or marketing leadership roles.
Background in cybersecurity, enterprise tech, managed services, or IT consulting.
Proven ability to build and scale go-to-market functions from scratch.
Deep understanding of Irish/UK enterprise markets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus: experience with public procurement and/or channel sales.
