We are seeking a
Field Service Engineer
to provide technical support and after-sales service for veterinary imaging equipment, including
ultrasound, X-ray, and endoscopy systems
. You'll play a key role in ensuring seamless service delivery, supporting customers both remotely and onsite, while maintaining high-quality standards and promoting continuous improvement.
This role is perfect for someone with strong technical expertise, customer service skills, and a proactive approach.
Responsibilities:
* Provide
diagnosis, repair, and maintenance
of ultrasound, X-ray, endoscopy, and medical imaging equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve
IT and network issues
related to imaging systems.
* Carry out
onsite service visits
to customer premises, ensuring timely and professional support.
* Complete all necessary service documentation, updating internal systems to support business processes.
* Manage service stock accurately and efficiently.
* Support the development of the service business in your territory.
* Ensure adherence to service processes, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Represent and promote company values to all customers and partners.
* Occasional overnight stays may be required.
About You:
* Relevant
technical/engineering qualification
(3rd level education).
* Previous experience in a
field service
or technical support environment.
* Experience with
X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, or medical device equipment
(desirable but not essential).
* Good understanding of
IT systems
and networking.
* Strong communicator with excellent customer-facing skills.
* Highly organised, adaptable, and able to work to tight deadlines.
* Positive "
can-do
" attitude, with a mindset for
continuous improvement
