We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to join our team in Letterkenny. This role is focused on driving sales performance, managing van sales teams and authorised distributors, and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience across the region.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to grow and maintain sales in their current or previous roles, with strong leadership, organisational, and commercial skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Growth: Achieve agreed yearly and quarterly targets by managing existing business, generating new opportunities, and providing effective after-sales service.
* Returns Management: Monitor depot returns and ensure they remain within agreed targets.
* Stock Control: Ensure all stock movements from delivery to sales are fully reconciled and accounted for.
* Team Management: Oversee team rotas to cover holidays, absenteeism, and operational requirements.
* Staffing: Support recruitment, training, and ongoing development of staff to ensure adequate cover at all times.
* Fleet Management: Oversee the use and maintenance of company vehicles, ensuring compliance with reporting procedures.
* Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reports on sales, operations, and other key metrics to senior management.
Skills & Competencies
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar sales-based role.
* Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
* Proven ability to plan, organise, and deliver results.
* Full clean Irish/European driving licence.
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
* Team player with the ability to contribute to sales strategy discussions.
