Project Manager for Mechanical and Electrical Services
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Building Services Engineer to take on a challenging position in South Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the installation of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services on residential projects, from initial design to final commissioning.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and monitor the installation quality of M&E systems on residential projects.
* Support site construction management teams by leading coordination of M&E systems and assisting with on-site problem solving.
* Oversee M&E subcontractors on site to ensure programme milestones and quality expectations are met.
* Liaise with Public Utility providers, local authorities, and design teams to secure timely delivery of electricity, public lighting, gas, water, and telecommunications services.
* Act as the main point of contact for site services.
* Anticipate and manage requirements for modifications to existing site services and facilitate mains service diversions with Utility Providers.
* Contribute to innovation and value engineering processes by recommending best-in-class mechanical and electrical systems and products.
Requirements:
* Further education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
* Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in a similar project management role.
* Relevant trade background advantageous but not essential.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and commitment to programme delivery.
* Willingness to travel between sites across greater Dublin and hold a full driving licence.
