Salter Grange is currently recruiting an EHS Advisor to join a Leading Engineering Contractor on a Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Campus in Limerick.My client is open to the candidate's background if they can demonstrate cradle-to-grave experience on high-value construction projects in different sectors with reputable Main Contractors.They have a proven track record of developing people, but ideally, the successful EHS Advisor will be in the sector and looking for that step up or step forward if they have hit a glass ceiling.You will be working under a highly regarded EHS Lead with great clients, a strong pipeline of work in a robust sector and a turnover reaching £2 billion; it is a great time to join the business.EHS Advisor Responsibilities:Adherence to the project & company Safety Management systemAdherence to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislationAdherence to the company's Environmental, Health & Safety Plans.Coordination in the development of task specific Method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of action, and permit to work.Ongoing C.O.S.H.H assessments, control of hazardous substances.Ensuring that safety interventions are completed & registered.Carry out regular site audits and inspections, document results and follow up on any corrective actions.Welfare & Hygiene facilities are in place, managed & maintained.Up-to-date documentation is included with the Safety File.Waste reduction and recycling programmes are maintained in line with project policies & procedures.EHS Advisor Requirements:HETAC Level 8 (HDip or Degree) qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety5+ years' experience in a similar role.Flexibility in working patterns where necessary.Ability to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on site.Strong communication & computer skills.If you are interested in this EHS Advisor role, apply with your CV to the link provided.
