The Opportunity
As Fund Accounting Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the production, review and delivery of accurate and timely NAVs across a portfolio of Alternative Investment Funds.
You'll oversee daily fund accounting operations, provide review and quality control over deliverables, and act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fund accounting professional ready to step into a leadership role with exposure to complex structures, private market funds and an ambitious, growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Review and sign off on daily/weekly/monthly NAVs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to control frameworks.
Oversee calculations for fund fees, capital activity, expenses, and income.
Review and maintain accounting records, general ledgers and trial balances.
Act as a primary point of contact for client queries related to NAV production.
Support new fund launches, ensuring operational readiness and smooth onboarding.
Develop strong relationships across internal teams, clients, and third‑party service providers.
Supervise, train, and mentor analysts, providing regular feedback and coaching.
Contribute to departmental projects, process improvements and best‑practice initiatives.
About You
4+ years' experience in fund accounting or fund operations, ideally within Alternative Funds.
Exposure to private markets or closed‑ended fund structures is a distinct advantage.
Understanding of partnership structures, fee agreements and performance fee methodologies.
Strong analytical and accounting skills, including trial balance review and reconciliation.
Third‑level qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
ACCA qualification (or progression towards it) desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
A team‑oriented mindset with energy, accountability and a proactive approach.
