The role
Position Summary
The College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (CMNHS) at the University of Galway seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy on a part‑time (0.5 FTE) specific purpose contract as a lecturer Level on a Type A contract in the Discipline of Occupational Therapy.
Responsibilities
Source, allocate and support practice education placements for undergraduate students.
Ensure the B.Sc. (Hons) Occupational Therapy programme meets professional regulations and national standards.
Support the Head of Discipline in the development and innovation of the curriculum and clinical skills teaching.
Provide clinical supervision and student support.
Assist in establishing new opportunities in Occupational Therapy education and research.
Salary
Salary: €65,552 to €104,573 per annum pro rata (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011 and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the University’s Remuneration policy).
