My client is actively looking for a Senior Contentful Developer for a long term contract based in Dublin Hybrid working options are available for this role.A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.The Contentful Developer / Front-End Web Developer will bridge the gap between digital design and technical delivery for web and mobile platforms.The successful candidate will be responsible for the architecture of the Contentful CMS environment, ensuring that content models are scalable and that the front-end applications consuming this data deliver measurable value.Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-performance front-end web applications integrated with the Contentful CMS.Design, create, and maintain complex content models within Contentful to ensure structured data aligns with business needs and front-end requirements.Work closely with business users and the Senior BA/PO to translate functional needs into detailed technical requirements and scalable content schemas.Act as a technical subject matter expert for Contentful, ensuring the platform supports agile delivery and continuous improvement.Support the maintenance and evolution of the web & mobile applications that consume Contentful data, ensuring high availability and performance.Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management, providing technical insights into task estimation and feasibility.Collaborate with Scrum Masters, QA Teams, and Architects to ensure code quality, security, and alignment with business needs.Support the Programme Manager by providing transparency on technical progress, risks, and dependencies related to the web application stack.Knowledge, Skills and Experience A minimum of 5 years experience as a Front-End Web Developer working on large-scale projects in a complex technical environment.Deep expertise in Contentful CMS is mandatory, including experience with content model architecture, Contentful CLI, and Delivery/Management APIs.Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, to build and maintain scalable web applications.Proven ability to create and maintain content models that support dynamic and reusable front-end components.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to proactively identify technical solutions that are fit for purpose and represent value for money.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust within technical squads and facilitate collaboration with stakeholders across the business.Self-driven and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to technical outcomes.Experience working in an agile project delivery model, plus experience of relevant tools such as Jira, confluence or Azure Dev Ops.
