Role
We are recruiting for a Consultant within our Fund Accounting department. This pivotal role involves assisting in all aspects of Private Equity Funds administration, including fund accounting and financial reporting.
Principal Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality service to assigned clients.
* Manage the preparation of interim and annual financial statements for PE Funds, including complex structures and listed entities.
* Liaise with clients and external auditors, handling audit queries.
* Ensure timely regulatory filings and compliance reports.
* Accurately issue NAVs within set timeframes.
* Coordinate with clients to determine fund structures and support NAV calculations.
* Communicate effectively with clients, investors, and related parties.
* Establish clear operating arrangements at fund inception, ensuring documentation and legal compliance.
* Prepare, review, and collate reports for board packs.
Skills / Experience
* Team player with a customer-centric attitude, positive outlook, and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
* Knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS is desirable.
* Experience in financial statement production and review.
* Understanding of Irish regulatory and tax regimes related to Fund Accounting.
* Willingness to learn about Private Equity Fund Administration.
* Strong prioritization, multitasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
