We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our team as a barista / all rounder. The job is mainly located at our Dun Laoghaire branch (96 Georges street lower) but please note that you could be required to take 1 or 2 shifts per week in our Dublin 2 branch (26 Nassau street).
This position is definitely for someone willing to commit on a long term.
* Part time (25 to 35 hours per week)
* Week days and week-end availability requested
* Day shifts only (clock-out around 7pm max)
Your responsibilities
* Taking part to all the core tasks (barista, cooking, waitering, cleaning, opening or closing procedure, etc.) with a multitasking mindset
* Being part of a 2 to 4 people team per shift
* Applying and enforcing all aspects of food hygiene and HACCP procedures
Requirements
* We're looking for someone with a barista experience who are also happy to take part to the food preparation (toasties, salads, etc.)
* A very good level of spoken English is essential and we will be uncompromising on this aspect.
* And more important than anything, this job is definitely for someone with an energetic attitude.
* One more thing, to feel happy in this job, you must have a personality naturally eager to engage with customers and a genuine interest in simple but fine food cooking.

Renowned in South Dublin among the main players of the speciality coffee scene, we claim to be much more than that. Our place is primarily an elegant French café (Fred is French for real, not just for marketing...) offering authentic and gourmet French dishes like sweet crepes, viennoiseries, savoury crepes, quiches, cakes, etc.
