Accounting Expertise Sought
As a vital component of our financial team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the fiscal health and stability of our hotel operations.
Responsibilities:
* Manage payroll processing and associated activities, including P30 returns, to guarantee accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Prepare month-end accounts, encompassing P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as bimonthly VAT returns, to provide a clear picture of our financial performance.
* Develop and maintain effective financial controls across the business to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
* Collaborate closely with other departments to advise on their financial impact and assist in budgeting processes.
* Ensure robust income management for card, cash, cheque, and bank transfers to maintain accurate financial records.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also contribute to end-of-year audits, monthly forecasts, and annual budget processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us stay profitable through effective budget management and ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant financial regulations.
