Catering Team Leader & Part Time Assistant – Ardfert National School, Ireland
Job Summary – Deliver fresh, healthy lunches daily in a fast‑paced commercial kitchen. Support school lunch service with cooking, kitchen management and service delivery. The role offers part‑time catering assistant and team leader responsibilities within a rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities – Prepare meals from scratch, prep ingredients, cook, plate, and serve children in classrooms.
Manage kitchen operations: supervise staff, maintain HACCP food safety, clean, and manage inventory.
Lead kitchen operations (team leader): roster staff, place orders with suppliers, recruit, supervise and ensure company policies.
Support two schools within a 30‑minute drive, covering and assisting when needed.
Flexibility: Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑02:30 pm, 2/3 day shift rotation, no set days.
Qualifications – Experience in catering or cooking, team leadership experience preferred.
HACCP training – full training provided.
Garda vetting and Child Protection Course required.
Mobility: willing to drive between schools up to 30‑min.
Work during school term only.
