Job Title: Project Site Leader
Job Description
As a key member of our project team, you will lead the construction site and ensure the successful completion of projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate with contractors.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain Health & Safety (H&S) files on site.
* Work with Project Managers to plan projects effectively, ensuring all requirements are met.
* Promote high standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
* Manage site operations, including supervising and monitoring site teams and subcontractors.
* Identify, prevent, and report unsafe behavior, defects, and events on site.
* Assist in resolving technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
* Carry out regular H&S audits and toolbox talks.
* Manage site-based operatives, overseeing their work and ensuring quality control.
* Review performance against targets and identify potential risks and opportunities.
* Issue permits and Safe Plans of Action as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience in leading multi-discipline sites, preferably in waste water or water treatment plants.
* 7+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical trade roles, with progression to management level.
* Flexibility to move from site to site for installation and commissioning phases.
* Full clean driving license.
* Excellent oral and written reporting skills.
* Computer literacy in Google Sheets, Docs, and email.

This is a permanent position with a weekly schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. The role requires flexibility to travel to other Veolia sites, plants, and offices throughout Ireland.
