About the Role
The Supported Independent Living Care Staff will play a vital role in ensuring that our tenants receive person-centred care and support, based on a social model of service delivery. This involves working closely with each individual to develop and implement a tailored plan, promoting autonomy and self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management
* Develop and implement person-centred plans, taking into account each individual's needs, goals, and preferences
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
* Maintain accurate records and reports, demonstrating strong attention to detail
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* A QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support
* An understanding of relevant national standards for Disability services
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and service user protection
* Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* A full clean driver's license and access to your own car
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience and training in medication management would be an asset in this role.
