We are looking to employ an Assistant Front Office Manager to help lead the Front Office Team in the day to day running of reception in the Spencer Hotel to ensure the day-to-day operations are carried out in line with department and Hotel standards & to provide 100% quality service to guests at all times. Main Duties -To deputise for the Front Office Manager in their absence. -To ensure that all services offered in Front Office are always available, and are carried out with the utmost efficiency and courtesy. -To meet and welcome regular VIP guests in accordance with the hotels guest recognition programmes. -To Carry out System closure to prepare for Night Audit for the hotel. -To identify market needs from both the hotel guests and the local market. -To plan and implement effective up selling activities to ensure maximum room revenue through effective rate management. -Follows up with constructive feedback and coaching where applicable. -Responsible for the overnight team in relation to enforcing standards, ensuring continuous training specifically with regards to Health & Safety and cover any shifts necessary To be conversant and comply with local legislation and act in accordance with any such matters relating to your department. -To respond to any changes in the hotel as dictated by the needs of the industry, company or hotel operation. -To assist Front Office Manager with, and conduct (where necessary) departmental communication meetings. - To ensure that all employees are treated fairly and consistently as outlined in their terms and conditions of employment, local legislation and company/hotel policies and procedures.
