Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Leading the mechanical design process for heavy machinery and equipment projects Creating and reviewing detailed 3 D models, drawings, and specifications Ensuring designs meet safety, quality, and compliance standards Providing technical support during manufacturing and commissioning phases Participating in design reviews and troubleshooting design issues as they arise Requirements of the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably within heavy machinery or related sectors Strong proficiency in Solid Works Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and relevant industry standards Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment BSc/BEng or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Package for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Attractive salary - up to £50,000 per year Company bonus scheme - 10% per year Health cash plan Death in service benefit - x4 annual salary Flexible start and finish times A chance to work with a leading brand in their space with endless growth potential Want to find out more?
