Job Description Summary
Contribute to an excellent resident experience by performing high-standard repairs and maintenance, diagnosing faults, and undertaking minor repairs and decoration in buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work as part of a supportive team to ensure community cleanliness and resident satisfaction.
2. Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and contractors.
3. Manage maintenance tasks within budget and resource constraints.
4. Monitor and complete tasks via the electronic maintenance system, ensuring quality and timeliness.
5. Maintain accurate property maintenance records and stock levels.
6. Respond to after-hours calls requiring on-site presence.
7. Perform repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, lighting, and statutory testing.
8. Address health and safety issues promptly.
9. Assist with furniture movement and site inspections.
10. Supervise external contractors and ensure compliance with safety standards.
11. Support community move-ins, move-outs, and refurbishment activities.
12. Assist in security management and statutory testing records maintenance.
13. Oversee grounds maintenance and supervise external contractors.
14. Follow safety protocols and report incidents appropriately.
15. Review and update site risk assessments.

About You
Knowledge & Qualifications
* Education to O’ Level / GCSE or equivalent, with strong written and numerical skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards on site.
* Trade qualification such as Building Crafts Operative Certificate, City and Guilds, or NVQ relevant to residential repairs.
Experience & Skills
* Experience in residential repairs or construction trades like plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
* Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
* Friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor.
* Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* Cost-effective problem-solving skills.
* Experience supervising contractors and suppliers is desirable.
* Excellent organizational skills with multitasking ability.
