Job Description:
A top Clinical Nurse Manager is sought to take on a key leadership role in delivering exceptional care. This dynamic and forward-thinking position involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and managing a team of clinical staff.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting internal audits and implementing recommendations
* Developing and maintaining effective training programs for staff
* Fostering innovation and best practice within the organization
* Ensuring adherence to Company and HIQA standards, procedures and guidelines
* Leading regular communication meetings with clinical staff
* Building strong relationships with external community agencies and promoting resident engagement in local activities
* Liaising with Marketing to enhance the Home's profile in the community
* Implementing health and safety policies to safeguard staff, residents, and others
* Coordinating fire training and evacuation plans
* Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
* Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs
* Participating in staff selection and interviewing processes
* Ensuring clinical practices meet Regulations & Standards
Required Qualifications and Skills:
To succeed in this challenging role, candidates must possess:
* A qualification in nursing with at least 3 years of management experience in older person care in the last 6 years
* A post-registration management qualification in healthcare or a related field
* A proven track record in healthcare clinical management
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
* Sound decision-making ability and results-driven focus
* Ability to foster a positive team environment
