The Opportunity
We have an opportunity within our Consulting unit for a HR Consultant, specifically working within our Transformation, HR and Change team. This varied role offers the opportunity to work across a broad portfolio of client assignments, delivering high-quality support in areas such as employment law, employee relations, recruitment, and training and development. The role also offers scope to contribute to strategic projects and organisational development initiatives.
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be tasked with:
* Providing employment law and HR best practice advise across a broad range of topics.
* Supporting clients through employee relations matters to include more complex ER cases.
* Developing bespoke contracts of employment and HR policies.
* Reviewing recruitment and contract materials on behalf of clients.
* Managing end-to-end recruitment processes and other related activities.
* Designing and delivering training programmes across a suite of soft-skills topics.
* Contributing to organisational development projects as required.
* Collaborating on business development initiatives, including tenders, proposals, presentations, thought leadership.
* Supporting other tasks or projects as they arise.
About The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* An appropriate third level qualification in a relevant business discipline, such as Human Resources, Psychology or Organisational Development
* A qualification or keen interest in employment law would be helpful but not essential.
* Have a minimum of 3-4 years HR experience with experience of dealing with employee relations matters.
* Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* A good work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude and approach to work.
