As a medical secretary you will be an integral part of the administration function in the operation of the busy GP surgeries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Answering phones
* Scheduling appointments
* Typing
* Scanning
* Photocopying
* Processing of documents
* Processing repeat prescriptions
* Booking in patients
* Managing patient queries
* Covering busy desks including reception, appointments, switch etc
* Covering outlying TKP surgeries where required
Other
· Be a positive, engaging and active key member of the administration team.
· Build up a relationship with all members of the practice.
· Promote and actively engage in an environment of care, compliance, continuous improvement, responsiveness to change and innovation within the company.
· Perform other ad hoc duties as required
