An established, progressive professional services firm based in South Dublin is seeking to appoint a Senior Accountant as part of its continued growth. This role would suit a practice-trained accountant who is looking for broad client exposure, hands-on responsibility and the opportunity to work in a modern, technology-enabled environment. Opportunity to move beyond pure compliance, using technology to deliver smarter, more efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities Full responsibility for a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships. Reviewing work prepared by accounts assistants, including bookkeeping, payroll and VAT returns. Preparation and review of management accounts and statutory financial statements. Oversight of personal and corporate tax compliance. Preparation of financial projections and ad hoc client reports. Ensuring all client deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Candidate Requirements Must be a Qualified Accountant - ACCA or ACA Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience within a small to medium-sized accounting practice - must have Irish practice experience. Strong technical accounting knowledge Solid tax experience, including VAT, RCT, Corporation Tax and Income Tax. Strong understanding of payroll processes Comfortable working with cloud-based accounting systems; Xero experience is a plus.
