Building Surveyor – Construction / Real Estate Location: Dublin Salary: Competitive (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Overview A leading construction / real estate organisation is seeking a Building Surveyor to join their Dublin-based team.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, supporting both project delivery and property management functions.
Key Responsibilities Conduct building surveys, inspections, and condition reports Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and maintenance plans Advise on defects, compliance, and building regulations Manage refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects from inception to completion Assist with contract administration and procurement processes Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard Requirements Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline Proven experience in construction, property, or real estate environments Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and compliance standards Experience in project management and contract administration Excellent report writing and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and surveying tools/software Desirable Chartered or working towards chartership (e.g. SCSI / RICS) Experience across both professional services (surveys, reports) and project work Knowledge of landlord
