Ferrys Solicitors LLP is seeking to recruit a full-time Bookkeeper based at their office in the city centre. The role involves managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks across all 5 branches, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting and Law Society Regulations.
Responsibilities include:
* Recording and posting a large volume of receipts into client bank accounts.
* Informing fee earners of receipts and updating the database with copies of bank receipts.
* Recording and posting receipts into office bank accounts.
* Raising invoices for professional fees and liaising with fee earners as necessary.
* Inputting electronic bank payments and arranging for required authorizations.
* Arranging transfer of funds from client to office accounts.
* Inputting supplier invoices and arranging payments.
* Recording and posting all client outlays.
* Recording and posting office expenses on the cash account.
