Overview
A Senior Chemist is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational medical device client in Galway for a fulltime on-site role on an initial 12-month contract.
The Senior Chemist will act as subject matter expert and provide oversight for critical NPD areas.
The Role
* Work independently to plan and schedule activities to meet project timelines.
* Author technical reports and validation documents.
* Provide guidance and communicate updates to cross-functional and cross-site teams.
* Support laboratory investigations to determine root cause and implement meaningful corrective actions.
* Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce testing lead-times and support cost saving targets.
* Supports training of new colleagues.
* Supports Internal and External Audit programs.
* Support Regulatory submissions.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8) in a relevant Chemistry, Science, Engineering or other technical discipline.
* 5+ years’ relevant experience in a medical device organization.
* Experience in dissolution/HPLC and Liquid/Gas Chromatography.
