Assistant Accountant
Part-Qualified Accountant - Office-Based | Study Support | Industry Opportunity
We are currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join a busy finance team in a full-time, 100% office-based role. This position offers study support and is ideal for someone coming from practice who is looking to make the move into industry.
Duties:
* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
* Reconcile bank and ledger accounts
* Support intercompany transactions and transfer pricing compliance
* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting
* Maintain financial records and accounting systems
* Assist with internal and external audits
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
* Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data
* Participate in training and development activities
* Help meet group reporting deadlines
Skills:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Willingness to learn and develop professionally
* Internship or work experience in a finance role
* Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
* Progressing towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
