The AML Technical Manager will provide professional technical and analytical service through the effective and efficient management of the following areas within Operations:
The AML Technical Manager's responsibility is to provide a professional technical and analytical service through effective and efficient management of the following areas within Operations
AML/CTF systems including NetReveal, Keesing and SafeWatch
AML/CTF data analytics and reporting internally and externally
3rd Party relationship management – key stakeholder in the management of 3rd party AML application providers, including BAE Systems and EastNets
The AML Technical Manager will take leadership responsibility for AML/CTF business as usual and AML/CTF project deliverables in AML Operations:
Working with senior management, using or developing AML technologies to implement AML strategy and operations across the bank
Delivery of timely and effective reports in respect to AML investigations, both internally as part of business as usual and externally as part of AML/CTF reporting to authorities
Ability to communicate to both IT and business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership
Leading, motivating and developing staff reporting to the role, including developing robust succession plans
Sets clear objectives and performance expectations of their team and monitors progress on a regular basis
Data and Technical Design
Apply strong data architecture, data modelling, and design principles across automation solutions.
Collaborate with data, reporting, and analytics teams to ensure solutions are data driven, maintainable, and aligned to enterprise standards.
Delivery Frameworks and Ways of Working
Champion agile delivery practices, continuous improvement, and engineering best practices across the automation capability.
Support the evolution and adoption of the Digital or Automation Transformation Framework, embedding standards, patterns, and documentation approaches.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a third level IT qualification and a detailed knowledge of AML/CFT obligations within Financial Services
5 years technical experience within the Financial Services industry
In-depth knowledge of and experience in the technical operation, development and management of AML Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions and Customer Risk Assessment monitoring systems
A strong understanding of the requirements for internal governance and risks within the AML/CTF and FS environment
This is a permanent role based in the PTSB Head Office, St. Stephens Green, Dublin (Hybrid Options available within Republic of Ireland only).
