About the Role:
EPS Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Mallow, County Cork.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of integrated systems that support and enhance our ERP platform.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively across departments to ensure seamless system functionality and data flow, leveraging technologies such as SQL and Oracle to deliver robust business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and support seamless integrations between the ERP system and other business applications.
Assist in the configuration, customisation and implementation of ERP solutions, supporting functions such as production planning, inventory management, quality control and supply chain operations.
Maintain and update Oracle and SQL databases that underpin core business systems.
Provide support for report writing and data analysis to meet business needs.
Work closely with end-users to gather and define user interface requirements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, user guides and instructions.
Conduct thorough testing of business applications to ensure optimal functionality, performance and security.
Support software deployment processes, including user acceptance testing and management review.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within business software, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
Assist in training end-users on ERP functionalities and provide ongoing technical support.
Key Competencies and Skills:
Solid understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
Familiarity with business systems such as Microsoft Power BI, ERP platforms and modules related to Financial Accounting or Stock Control.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a keen interest in learning new technologies and staying up to date with industry trends.
Qualifications:
A relevant qualification in Computer Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
