Noel Group is recruiting a Pipefitter on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing facility based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Pipefitter looking to secure a long-term position within a modern industrial environment. Previous experience in food, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or industrial settings is advantageous but not essential, as training and site support will be provided. Candidates living within a reasonable commuting distance are preferred, however all suitably qualified applicants will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, assemble, and maintain pipework systems across the facility
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and technical schematics
• Carry out fabrication, fitting, and installation of stainless steel and carbon steel pipework
• Perform maintenance and repair work on existing pipe systems
• Support planned and reactive maintenance activities to minimise downtime
• Carry out pressure testing and ensure systems are commissioned correctly
• Ensure all pipework installations meet hygiene, quality, and safety standards
• Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams
• Follow site procedures, permits, and health and safety requirements at all times
• Complete job records and maintenance documentation accurately
• Assist with continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives
• Carry out additional duties as required by the Maintenance Supervisor
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• A recognised Pipefitting or Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, FMCG, or pharmaceutical environments is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience working with stainless steel pipework is beneficial
• Knowledge of hygienic pipe systems is an advantage but not essential
• Strong hands-on mechanical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
