The role of a Credit Underwriter involves assessing credit limits consistently and correctly within prescribed times to ensure renewal, new business targets, and loss ratios are achieved.
Key responsibilities include effectively monitoring and implementing the Risk Business Model, agreeing prompt limit decisions, and providing quality communication within agreed service levels.
You will also be responsible for assessing credit limits, assessing risks in accordance with Group Quality Standards, and meeting clients, buyers, and brokers to keep loss ratios to a minimum, maximise cover, and ensure renewal and new business targets are achieved.
