Role Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented Financial Planning & Compliance Specialist to join our Finance Department in Nea Santa. This strategic role supports the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is pivotal in ensuring financial compliance, operational efficiency, and sustainable financial planning. The position combines oversight of regulatory frameworks, financial systems, ESG reporting, and funding strategy to support KEBE's long-term financial vision both in Greece and abroad.
Core Responsibilities
* Oversee daily AP/AR operations, ensuring accuracy and tax compliance.
* Prepare financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) per Greek GAAP.
* Support audits and coordinate with external auditors and evaluators.
* Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
* Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making.
* Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity.
* Apply financial controls and contribute to risk mitigation.
* Handle financial reporting for subsidised and co-financed programs.
* Advice on subsidy utilisation and financial impact.
* Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, plus solid experience.
* Background in financial planning or compliance.
* Confident with numbers, ERP systems, and Excel.
* Familiar with Greek financial laws, ESG, and public funding.
* Detail-focused, discreet, and thorough.
* Clear communicator, structured thinker, easy to work with.
* Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills.
