EirTrade, as a worldwide material and service provider trades internationally as part of its regular day to day activities. The opportunity to become an expert in the complex and evolving aviation industry.ResponsibilitesManage the technical team setting priorities for tech reviews and ensuring team objectives are being met to support the wider businessReview and negotiate technical terms in Letter' of intent, Sale and purchase agreements and lease agreements to ensure the best outcome for EirTradeParticipate in aircraft and engine records reviews and host meeting's with trading partners to close open item's listsManage external service providers and consultants arranging pre-purchase inspection, borescope inspections and records reviews within budgetMentor and train junior staff to ensure on going development within the teamLead the performance reviews of the team throughout the year, ensuring timely completion, mentoring, KPI setting, feedback loops across all 3 performance pillars ensuring strengthening of the team and future proofing for the teamReview and implement I.T. solutions within the department to ensure the team can work efficientlyContact with respective Operators, OEM's and customers as requiredExplain technical information clearly via presentations and written technical reportsAdhere to EirTrade performance pillars on a day-to-day basisSkills and/or Experience required5+ years' experience in Aircraft/Engine Technical Records within a airline, lessor or technical service provider with experience managing peopleEngineering Degree or Aircraft Maintenance LicenceExperience in Technical records, Chapter 05 life limits, LLP BTB trace, aircraft status reports and statements. Experience with tear down assets and records a distinct advantageKnowledge of current commercial aircraft and engines and airworthiness regulations EASA/FAA/UK CAAKnowledge of engine build up – Modules, Assemblies, Piece parts, LRU's, QECAbility to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks taking ownership end to endSelf-motivated and self-driven, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a small entrepreneurial teamA strong communicatorAble to apply integrity and good practice across all activities and initiativesKeen eye for detailStrong PC skills, particularly excel, PDF and wordSelf-motivated and self-driven, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a small entrepreneurial teamHow to apply You must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of interview.
